At-Tin -- The Fig
8 verses · meccan
وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونِ
By the fig and the olive
Ayah 1وَطُورِ سِينِينَ
And [by] Mount Sinai
Ayah 2وَهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ ٱلۡأَمِينِ
And [by] this secure city [Makkah]
Ayah 3لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِيٓ أَحۡسَنِ تَقۡوِيمࣲ
We have certainly created man in the best of stature
Ayah 4ثُمَّ رَدَدۡنَٰهُ أَسۡفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ
Then We return him to the lowest of the low
Ayah 5إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَيۡرُ مَمۡنُونࣲ
Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted
Ayah 6فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعۡدُ بِٱلدِّينِ
So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense
Ayah 7أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحۡكَمِ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ
Is not Allah the most just of judges
Ayah 8
